Her Universe Fashion Competition 2019

“Something Wicked” Fashion Design by Jennifer Clark

This design was submitted to the national Her Universe Fashion Competition, and chosen as 1 of the 24 finalists, amongst hundreds of submissions. Jennifer then created her design and walked the runway as part of the Fashion Competition at San Diego Comic Con.

Her Universe Fashion Show, is a national competition that asks designers to make a “Greek Couture” garment. The garment should take inspiration from any character, TV show, movie etc. that the designer is interested in. For this design, “Something Wicked” Jennifer choose to take inspiration from the Netflix show, “ The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”. Influenced by the timeless nature of the costume design of the show, and by the classic, timeless designer Charles James and his captivating structural creations, Jennifer sought to make a couture structure gown frozen in time the moment Sabrina is being overtaken by dark forces.
