This piece was a complex piece about both the nostalgia from childhood, and also the complicated emotions of an immigrant family and their journey in a new country. The choices they faced with keeping their heritage but also wanting to assimilate to the concurrent culture for a chance at the American Dream.

This dance piece was part of Backhaus Dance Company’s Fall dance concert beginning at the Temecula Theater then continued to tour around the L.A. area including L.A. Dance Project, the Martha B. Knoebel Theater, and other locations.
